Prabhleen Sandhu Acquires Rights To ‘An Indian Spy’

According to the recent reports, Sandhu’s venture Almighty Motion Picture has acquired the rights of the book ‘An Indian Spy’, written by Mihir Bose. The book will soon take shape of a major espionage thriller, that will shed light on one of the least talked about betrayals in Indian history.

‘An Indian Spy’ is based on Bhagat Ram Talwar, who spied for not one but four countries during the World War II World War II is a Malayalam information TV show on >> Read More... . He came from a family of bravehearts; his elder brother Harikishen Talwar was martyred for attacking the governor of Punjab in the early 30s. Bhagat Ram initially extended the legacy by helping Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose escape the northwestern borders of undivided India and make his way to Europe via Kabul.

However, he later turned his back on both Netaji and his cause and began serving the Allies. His tactics impressed his British master Peter Fleming so much that codenamed him ‘Silver’. Interestingly, Peter Fleming was the elder brother of Ian Fleming, who later gave birth to one of the most suave spies in the literary world : Agent JAMES BOND!
