Directed by Sonu Sood, who is also playing the main lead, ‘Fateh’ is the story of an unassuming dairy supervisor, who has left his dark past behind him. However, once an acquaintance goes missing, he is forced to face his past once again. Made on a budget of 40 crores, the movie earned around 19 crores in net domestic collections, making it a commercial failure.

However, Sonu Sood has nothing to lose, as he also starred in a Tamil movie ‘Madha Gaja Raja’, which starred Vishal and Santhanam in the lead roles. Sonu Sood played the role of K Vishwanath, the main antagonist. Despite taking more than a decade to release, the movie was not only a resounding box office success, but also earned more than 50 crores worldwide over a budget of 15 crores.
