National Award Means A Lot: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

On winning the 63rd National Award for Best Direction, the director feels humbled. The film that got him this award was Bajirao Mastani that starred Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. He says that recognition of a film like Bajirao Mastani means a lot to him as a director. He feels elated for the appreciation that the music of the film garnered; the music was composed by Bhansali himself. He says that the award is of prime importance to him- when the government of the nation you live in acknowledges the work, it feels great. He feels motivated and also extends his gratitude to the entire team of Bajirao Mastani.
