But, she hesitantly reveals that in the midst od all the appreciation for her National Award win and her most recent “Chham Chham” from Baaghi, she regrets losing out on the hit song of 2015 “Deewani Mastaani” composed by

. She remembers the time when the offer had come to her at first and at the very moment she was not in town. She missed the opportunity to be a part of the song since the makers did not have time to wait for her. By the time she was back, the song had already gone to Shreya Ghoshal. The song Deewani Mastaani went on to be a hit and was appreciated by the listeners and also garnered a few awards.
Monali says that she will be singing more melodies and independent singles now.
