Despite a decent hype, and some wise decisions by Dharma Productions, the action thriller hasn’t been able to strike a chord with the masses. The movie has barely managed to collect Rs. 4.55 crores on the opening day.
This is the second lowest opening for any Alia Bhatt movie as a lead actress. The lowest opening day collection is Imtiaz Ali’s Highway, which collected only 3.4 crores on the opening day. It was another matter that the film turned out to be a surprise success, earning 48 crores worldwide over a budget of 25 crores.
