She has said that she is very intent on exploring a film on the life and the period of the courtesan turned singer Gauhar Jaan, who shattered a gramophone record in the year of 1902. She said that since a few years, she has been thinking of doing a movie with the life of Gauhar Jaan. Also, she was making the endeavors to write the script. B But now, she thinks that she should leave it for a few years.
But, her life happens to be very interesting and very few people know who she is. As a matter of fact, Gauhar Jaan is considered as the pioneer of Thumri Tradition in Indian classical music. During the screening, she appreciated Poorna and confirmed that the biopics are interesting to watch and are successful. Kiran said that the biopics are interesting. There are a scant number of biopics which are made on living people, she said.
