It was stated that 3000 tons of gold deposit is found in UP’s Sonbhadra district. Now the geological survey of India authorities noted that the reports are not right and the mineralized zone has an approximate gold of 3.03 grams per ton and hence if it is extracted, it will be only 160 kg of gold and not 3300 tons as exaggerated by the media.
KK Rai, the Sonbhadra district mining officer, told that they had found gold deposits in Son Pahadi and Hardi in the district and those estimated deposits would be around 2943.26 tons in Son Pahadi and in Hardi it would be 646. 16 kilograms. But Shridhar, the DG stated that the reports are not right. The people who were seen celebrating the gold mine that has the 3000 tons of gold deposit in the morning turned very much disappointed that the reports are not right.
