, the former finance Minister had been suffering some health issues for long and hence he didn’t contest in the election 2019. He had been admitted to the AIIMS Delhi on 9th August and had been receiving treatment from multidisciplinary doctors. Arun Jaitely suffered from Kidney issues for a couple of years. He gained some weight due to the diabetics and hence, Arun Jaitley had also undergone bariatric surgery to minimize his extra weight. Professionally, Arun Jaitley was a lawyer. Right from his college days, he had been interested in the politics and even had gone to prison during Indira Gandhi’s rule. Arun Jaitley is survived by his wife Sangita Jaitley and children, Sonali Jaitley Bakhshi and Rohan Jaitley. Our deepest condolences to Arun Jaitley family! May his soul rest in peace!
