The film is based upon the personal and professional life of former Indian cricket team captain Mohammed Azharuddin.
Although 'Azhar' has received backlash and its own share of controversies, the film is said to be an eye opener about the real game.
There are lot of things that happen other than cricket and the film dares to talk about it said the actor.
Emraan has been promoting the film and recently went to shoot some episodes for the TV shows 'Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth' and 'Badi Door Se Aaye Hai'. The actor seemed to be enjoying his time on the telly sets.
