Diya Aur Baati Hum To Stop Due To Poor TRP Rating?

“Diya Aur Baati Jum” started in 2011 and was running successfully for few years. It was the top program on the channel. But, for the few months, the TRP rating is not up to the mark. Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid, the lead pair in the program are throwing tantrums on each other. Deepika slapped Anas during the shoot, last year and CINTAA intervened and solved the issue. It is heard that the show will be stopped and will be replaced by a program on the life of Mahesh Bhatt. Shasi Mittal, the producer was quoted saying, "It's like a family. Jaise family mein paanch saal saath rehne mein issues hote hain waise hi yahaan par bhi chhote-mote issues hote hain. There is nobody who is throwing tantrums. If the show goes off air, it's all because of ratings. Even though there have been fluctuations in the ratings, our show continues to be in the top 10 shows. I haven't received any official intimation from the channel. We have been hearing news about the show going off the air for the last one year."
