Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Mr Prakash Javadekar tweeted, “The legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for 2 generations has been selected unanimously for #DadaSahabPhalke award. The entire country and international community is happy. My heartiest Congratulations to him. @narendramodi @SrBachchan.”
Amitabh had already received 4 national awards for Best Actor. In 1984, he had been honored with Padma Shri in 1984, in 2001, he received Padma Bhushan and in 2015, he received Padma Vibhushan. Besides these awards and honors, he had been honored with a lot of awards for his performances at international level. Congrats, Amitabhji! You deserve it!
