The Supreme Court ordered
Aditya Pancholi
to vacate his residence and hand over the property to the owner of the building by December 31st. Rajan Pancholi, the father of Aditya Pancholi, rented a house in 1960 and since then, they have been residing there. The initial rent has been just Rs. 150 and Rajan Pancholi did not pay the rent of Rs.1384 in 1977. The landlady filed a case against Aditya Pancholi, and Aditya stated in the Apex Court that he is interested in buying the property and also will pay the pending rent. The owner said that she was not interested in giving it to Pancholi. The Supreme Court judges opined that Aditya could buy his own flat, and his conduct is unacceptable. So, he should vacate the premises before December 31st, 2015.
