1. Dance India Dance

Dance India Dance became famous in its first season only. It provides people with a platform to show their dancing talents. The show is judged by choreographers Gita Kapoor, Remo D’Souza, Terence Lewis and grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty. Contestants have to go through various rounds of challenges to make it to the top sixteen, and once they make it to the , the choreographers supervise them.

2. Dance Plus

Dance Plus is a platform where anybody of any age can show their dancing skills. Be it a group, a young child or an old lady it gives a chance to everybody who born to dance. It has a unique concept. The show is aired on Star Plus and is judged by the ace choreographer Remo D’Souza and rising stars like Shakti Mohan, and Dharmesh. People from worldwide come for the auditions and the best part about the show is that there is no restriction of age or members.

3. So You Think You Can Dance India

Inspiredfrom the famous American dance the show on & TV. It is judged by the beautiful actress and dancer Madhuri Dixit, and choreographers Terrence Lewis and Bosco Martis. The pattern show is that every week each contestant will be given a dance style which he or she has to perform based on which the elimination will take place.

4. Nach Baliye

Nach Baliye is a show where the celebrity couples perform and challenge each other. The show is aired on Star Plus and was earlier judged by Shilpa Shetty, Sajid and Terence Lewis and recently the panel of judges changed to Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat and Marzi Pestonji. The contestants are given theme every week based on which they have to prepare their performance with the help of their respective choreographers.

5. Jhalak Dikhla Jaa

Copied from the famous show Dancing With The Stars, Jhalak Dikhla Ja is again a show. Each celebrity gets a choreographer with whom they perform and complete their journey. They are provided with different props of which they have to make use of in their performances. The show is aired on Colors TV and is judged by Madhuri Dixit, Karan and Remo D’Souza.

6. Just Dance

Just Dance like any other dancing show gave a platform to people who wish to dawn their dancing skills. The show was aired on Star Plus and was judged by the famous actor and great dancer Roshan accompanied with choreographers Vaibhavi Merchant and Farah Khan. In the the dancers have to go through various stages and they get eliminated based on the votes of the audience.

7. Boogie Woogie

Boogie Woogie was the earliest dance shows in India. It gave a stage to kids to show their talent. The kids had to perform different styles in different stages based on which a kid was eliminated in each round. It was judged by a hilarious panel of judges Javed Jaffery, Nave Jaffery and Ravi Behl, who always motivated the kids to perform better. The show was aired on Sony TV.

8. Zara Nachke Dikha

Zara Nachke Dikha was aired on Star Plus and was by Shilpa Shetty, Arshad and Vaibhavi Merchant. There were two teams one of the celebrity girls and the other of celebrity boys. Both the teams challenged the members of the other team. Then they both had to perform and their performance was judged by the judges. Each team tried to let down the other team by their jokes, comments and the performance. The winner team was declared in the end by the marks they received.

9. Chak Dhoom Dhoom

Chak Dhoom Dhoom, yet another show which gave a chance to show children their talent. The show aired on Colors TV and was judged by Saroj Khan, Ahmed Khan, and Vindoo Dara Singh. The age limit was from five years to fourteen years. The children had to show their forte and with at each they were asked to perform different dance styles.

10. DID Little Masters

DID Little Maters is the junior version of Dance India Dance wherein children get to showcase their talent. The show is judged by Geeta Kapoor, Ahmad and grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty. The children are mentored by their skippers Prince, Raghav Juyal, Sanam Johar and more. The perform different styles and try to impress the judges.
