1. Sony Pictures Ltd.

2. Nadiadwala Grandson Ent.

The Nadiadwala family has been in the business of production since 1955 and has produced some major hits till today. Established in 1952 by Sajid Nadiadwala with a promise to entertain globally, the company has been the producer of family entertainment films like Judwaa 2, Dishoom, Baaghi, etc while waiting for upcoming hits like Kick2, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. In 2022 the production house presented 2 films that are Bachchan Pandey casting Akshay Kumar and Kriti Senon as main leads and Heropanti 2 with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria as the cast. While both the films turned out as a flop at the box office, the production house earned around INR74 crores.

3. Viacom18 Motion Pictures

Viacom 18 studios is a subsidiary of Viacom18 which is the first studio model-based production house located in Mumbai. It works in the production, acquisition, and distribution of film worldwide and has been the birthing house for films like Singh Is King, Tanu Weds Manu, and many more. In 2022 Viacom 18 was i in the distribution of the film Jugjug Jeeyo and involved in the production of upcoming films like Shabash Mitthu, Drishyam 2, and Laal Singh Chadha.

4. Dharma Productions

One of the most acquainted and immensely popular Dharma production established by Yash Johar in 1979, is currently run by his son and famous Bollywood director, Karan Johar. Dharma production owes the debut of a lot of star kids like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddhart Malhotra, and Ananya Pandey through the series SOTY. Founded by Jayantilal Gada in 1987, pen studios held the responsibility of being a production house for the two biggest hits of this year that are: Alia Bhatt's superhit 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and SS Rajamouli-directed RRR, both of which turned out to be the biggest superhit on the cinemas giving the house a total earning of INR129 crores.

7. Bhansali Productions

Gifting the Indian cinema with the most cinematically beautiful historical pieces was founded in 1999 by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It gifted the Indian cinemas one of the biggest superhits of the year with beautiful imagery, Alia Bhatt starring Gangubai Kathiawada which earned a total of INR 209 crore giving the house a total gross earning of INR 129 crores.

8. T Series

Founded in the 1980s by Gulshan Kumar, apart from being a production company, TSeries is the biggest music label in India at the moment. ZEE studios came up as a production house in 2012 as a subsidiary under the parent company ZEE Entertainment and have been into the business of producing, releasing, and distributing films. 10. Excel Entertainment

Excel Entertainment is the house to this year's biggest grossing movie, namely KGF Chapter 2, which made over INR 1200 crores giving the production house a total amount of over INR434 crores. Excel entertainment was founded by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani in 1999. It has been working to provide some exemplary films like Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara, Rock on, and many more.
