2. Masaan

Films like Masaan restore back our faith in good, intellectual and offbeat cinema. The highlight of the film is its concept which looks in a philosophical way towards life and death. The film is filled with amazing performances, fresh music and good writing. But the commercial film lovers might not find this movie that great.

3. Talvar

Based on Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case, this film can be categorized as one of the best thrilling films made in Hindi cinema. Irrfan Khan again impresses with his performance and is well supported by the other cast members. The film keeps you edged till the end. Good direction, writing, editing and performance make it a great watch.

4. Tamasha

Though this film might not have impressed everyone, but for me, it still remains one of the best films of 2015. Imtiaz Ali again impresses with his direction by dealing with a complex story. Words are less to describe how awesome Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are, they make their characters come alive. Unique narration, dialogues, cinematography and music deserve a special credit.

5. Margarita With A Straw

This film was released in India in 2015. I would call it a brave film, as it dealt with many subjects like sexuality, cerebral palsy, individuality and courage. Kalki Koechlin and 'Revathi' are amazing, it's difficult to imagine that they are actually acting. The highlight of the film is its climax but the film is slow paced and one should need the patience to watch the whole film. Nevertheless, it still remains an amazing movie.

6. Dum Laga Ke Haisha

This was a surprise hit of 2015. The film is sweet and its uniqueness in its simple concept makes the film engaging. The performance is again noteworthy. Another good thing about this film is that you will have a constant smile on your face throughout the film.

7. NH 10

Anushka Sharma gives her career best performance in NH10. The film is real, violent and thrilling. The film might not have a great story line but still it keeps you engaged with good direction, powerful background score and performances.

8. Bajirao Mastani

SLB comes with a grand film but doesn't impress much with his direction. Ranveer Singh might physically look like a warrior but his performance is fluctuating from good to very good and not so good, but, of course, he shines in the climax. The best part of the film is Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Cinematography, sets and costume design are noteworthy. Though the film has flaws it's still engaging.

9. Shamitabh

I just love the story of Shamitabh. The soul of the film lies in Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush and they don't disappoint. The film does have a good end but it seems dragged in the second half. Watch it for the unique story and performance.

10. Tanu Weds Manu Returns

The list ends with this entertaining film. Kangana Ranaut once again proves why she is called the 'Queen' of Bollywood. Yes it does have filmy scenes and situation but at the end, it's better if we look at the entertainment element more.
