Baidyanath Basak is a Bengali cinematographer, born in 1924 in North Calcutta. He is known for “Sonar Khancha” (1973), directed by Agradoot, starring Uttam Kumar, Aparna Sen, Rina Ghosh, Tarun Kumar, Subrata Chattopadhyay, Nirmal Kumar, Haradhan Bandopadhyay, Aparna Debi, and Asim Kumar among others, under the banner of Sarkar Films.
