Tapas Kumar Raha is an Indian Cinematographer and Director of Photography who predominantly worked in the Bengali Film Industry. He was born in Asansol, West Bengal. He resides in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. He finished schooling at Eastern Railway Boys High School and Higher Secondary School in Asansol. Baidyanath Basak is a Bengali cinematographer, born in 1924 in North Calcutta. He is known for “Sonar Khancha” (1973), directed by Agradoot, starring Uttam Kumar, Aparna Sen, Rina Ghosh, Tarun Kumar, Subrata Chattopadhyay, Nirmal Kumar, Haradhan Bandopadhyay, Aparna Debi, and Asim Kumar among others, under the banner of Sarkar Films.
