Khalid Anum

Khalid Anum is one of the famous and most respected personalities in Pakistan. Khalid is an admired actor, dramatist, TV artist, and presenter. He is not only on screen but also on stage as a musician and singer. He hails from the city of lights, Karachi, Pakistan. Khalid completed his education from the University of Karachi. In the 1990’s, he wrote a single for a popular drama. The song was titled as 'Peera Ho' and was one of his hits. He rose to fame when this song was released. That is when his career officially started.

For more than two decades, Khalid has been in the Pakistani media. He is not only talented but also experienced. Khalid is well known for his acting skills. He has been a part and acted in various dramas. Some of his serials and dramas include Dil Ka Kya Rung Karun, Rangeelay, Kahi Un Kahi and Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley. He is well-known for his role in Muqaddas, Kahi Un kahi, Bhaagti Bareera and Pakeeza which featurs on Hum TV. Khalid is married to the love of his life, Tehmina who is the CEO of a PR and Media Consultant company.

He is an amazing personality. Khalid has also hosted several television shows. He has been the General Manager at Indus Television Network. He also worked for the Geo Television Network as a producer as well as a head of the content development department. Khalid has also worked at Voice Youth Forum. He proceeds as the National Coordinator at Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association. Khalid has also been a part of many film festivals in Pakistan. He is an active participant for spreading social awareness in the society and has taken part in many walkathons. Also, as a musician, he has a passionate love for musical chords and instrument. In fact, he is fond of quite a few things like politics, music, parenting, environment, children and their education.

Recently, he was a part of the Children Literature Festival. He enjoys close interaction with children and believes that they are the greatest treasures and also our future. The jack of all trades is married and happily settled with his two sons. Now, he is the Head of the Department of Mass Communication and Media Studies at Greenwich University Karachi, Pakistan.
