Saima Noor, born on 5 May 1967 is a famous Pakistani actress from Multan, Pakistan belonging to a Pathan family. Saima is one of the most popular actresses in Pakistan in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She has acquired titles like ‘reigning queen of Pakistan’s Silver screen.’ After the decline of Pakistani film industry, she shifted to TV and soon became one of the highest paid actresses on TV.  She has acted in more than 300 films of different genres like action, fiction, romance, comedy, etc. Her debut in the film industry was through the film ‘Griban’ in 1987. Nagina Khanum introduced her to the film industry and she began acting in Punjabi movies initially. Her biggest hit was the 1998 romantic musical crime film ‘Choorian,’ which grossed around 200 million worldwide.
