Pooja Roshan born and brought up in Karnataka. She is model turned TV actress and now stepped into silver screen with couple of movies in her list. She speaks Telugu and English fluently besides speaking her native language Kannada. She is acting in serial Agni Poolu broadcast on Gemini TV daily at 8:00 PM. Serial revolves around four best friends whose life events are tied up with each other. In this serial Pooja plays the role of Sharmila. Sharmila is daughter of active MLA and fiancée to Veeren (Male Protagonist). She played the negative role with vengeance for not being able to successfully marry lead role. She portrayed all the expressions well and made viewers believe natural. Her ability in acting gave her boost to act in movies also. She has been acting in short films and low budget films for a while.
