Born on 1st January 1988, Madhu Reddy grew up in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Her family consists of her father, a financier, mother, homemaker, and elder sister. She completed her school as well as her college education in Rajahmundry. As a student, studies didn’t interest Madhu Reddy much, so she looked forward to taking up a unique occupation in the future. Madhu Reddy’s entry into the television world was unexpected. When she visited Hyderabad for vacation, she got the opportunity to attend an audition for a telefilm nearby.

Impressed by her mannerism, the director of the serial offered her the role. In 2009, she debuted in Telugu television with the soap opera Aadade Aadharam, the third longest-running Indian television soap opera. Madhu Reddy played the role of Renuka in the show. Despite being her first time in front of the camera, she nailed her role as Renuka to the extent that still people remember her by her character name. The character Renuka gave her immense fame. Following Aadade Aadharam, Madhu Reddy next played a pivotal role in the serial Abhishekam, the longest-running Indian television soap opera in ETV Telugu. She took up the character of Swathi in the serial. In 2011, Madhu Reddy appeared in the Maa TV show Missamma. The show revolves around a father and his three daughters. Madhu Reddy played the role of one of the daughters.

She played a prominent role in the show Chinnadana Neekosam Chinnadana Neekosam is a Telugu serial that aired >> Read More... in 2015. She played opposite actor, Kishore Krishna. In 2015, we saw Madhu Reddy in the negative role of Gowthami in ETV Telugu’s Naa Peru Meenakshi serial. Her portrayal as a powerful vamp attracted many audiences and raised her fame to another level. For the same, the actress has received Best supporting actress award. After a year of break, she returned to the same show as another character. In 2018, Madhu Reddy acted as Swarnamukhi in Kathalo Rajakumari.
