Vasudev Rao

Vasudev Rao(Chennamaneni Vasudev Rao) is an Indian actor and a model mainly seen in Telugu movies. He is best known for his work in the 2017 drama thriller Vasham. He started his career with Yuva in 2007, which Nagarjuna produced. He was born and brought up in Hyderabad and began his career as a model in 2002. He worked in plenty of commercials and walked quite several ramps too.

He has also received good reviews for his performance as a tough cop in Aparanji. “I guess every actor dreams of doing a role like that. It’s the first time I've played a lead role with negative shades, and the response from the audience has been fabulous. Apart from the TV serials, I plan to get back to doing good character roles in films. Quite frankly, I really want people to talk more about my actions than my looks,” says Vasudev Rao describing his character in Rama Seetha. In 2019 Hyderabad times titled him the most desirable man on tv for the third time in a row.
