Indu Anand

Known for portraying innocent and positive mother roles, Indu Anand is a supporting actress in the Indian television and film industry. Indu Anand is a well-known face to Telugu audience, as she has done more than fifty-plus films and television shows. Indu Anand, who has roots from Palghat in Kerala, was born and brought up in Mumbai. Born as Indira, she kept her name as Indu Anand after making a debut into the industry. Indu comes from a well-educated family as her father worked in the Military, and her mother was a teacher. She is graduated in English literature from a college in Mumbai. At the age of 18, she worked as a clerk in the central government. She further majored in Housekeeping specialization in Hotel Management and Fashion designing.

She got married at the age of 20, and the couple has a daughter. After marriage, she shifted to Delhi with her husband. Then, Indu spent her next few years in Mumbai, about fifteen years in Bangalore, and finally settled in Hyderabad. Indu Anand worked as a model during her stay in Bangalore. Then, after shifting to Hyderabad, with the support from her husband and family, Indu Anand made her acting debut at the age of thirty-eight. She played the lead role in the Doordarshan TV Serial Sahasra Phan in the year 1995.
