Vemuri Satyanarayana is a renowned writer, producer, and production designer in Indian cinema. He predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. Satyanarayana was born in a middle-class family in Ghatasalapalem in Krishna district. His father is a farmer. In his initial days, Satyanarayana also worked in the Andhra Foundry and Machine company in Hyderabad. He had a struggling career at that time. Fortunately, he got an opportunity to work on a magazine in 1970 through a friend’s acquaintance. Later, he worked in Jyothi. He connected with many writers in that organization. Then, the boom of his career started.
Satyanarayana is the writer of the movie Ladies Tailor in 1985. Later, he wrote for Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi Recording Dance Troupe in 1987. In 1988, he wrote for the film Maharshi. Satyanarayana became the producer of the film Manchpallaki in 1982. He also worked as a production designer for Neti Siddhartha. In 2011, he was a script supervisor for the Telugu movie Bhale Mogudu Bhale Pellam. He worked as a script coordinator for Donga Ramudu and Party.
