Tripuraribhatla Ramakrishna Sastry was a famous stage and film actor. He was born on 10 April 1914. He was famous for portraying the role of Narada in about 12 films. He was born to Tripuraribhatla Raghavaiah and Kameswaramma. He was born in Pedaravooru of Tenali taluq in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. He joined Rama Vilasa Sabha of Tenali and started as a child actor when he was nine years old. He also acted in Balamitra Sabha of Dantu Venkata Krishnayya in Guntur district from 1926 onwards — Krishna Leelalu, Roshanara, Ramadasu plays – and toured South India.

He portrayed the Narada character with devotion and won applause and appreciation from a wide audience. Subsequently, he has acted in about twelve films which also include Markandeya, Dakshayagnam, Prahlada, Mairavana, and Sumati, and played various roles.
After returning to the stage, he worked in the Ramanjaneya Yudham play of Betha Venkata Rao as Narada and gave hundreds of amazing performances. He has earned a good name, recognition, and a lot of appreciation for playing Bilvamangala, Ramadasu, Shivayogi, Kabir, and Narada. He also participated in the Tulabharam play of Sthanam Narasimha Rao before Jawaharlal Nehru in 1952 in New Delhi. He died at the age of 84 years in Tenali on 21 May 1998.
