Keerthi Sen is a Telugu actress who was a fresh face in 2013, trying to make her luck smile in showbiz. She had the charm of a next door image. She made her entry in Tollywood with a new debutant actor, Raja, in the film, ‘Uttaram’. At her first picture premiere, the actress shared in a press meet that the film was on the backdrop of love and family issues, which released on October 25, 2013. Although the audience did not welcome her or her first movie with open arms, she did get noticed in her debut film.

Every year, aspirations soar high for many newbies who set to enter films, and Keerthi Sen too was among them. It was believed that director Srinivas was associated with the same banner and had directed a movie, ‘Istapadithe’, earlier. So if the makers of the movie had chosen Keerthi Sen as a leading heroine, it surely hints at her caliber as an actor.

The actress is highly educated. Keerthi is not an extraordinary glam doll and yet, she tried to put her first foot in Tollywood the way several new faces try their luck at acting. The actress did not have a 'filmy pedigree' to back her and hence, she was not too sure if she can hog headlines with her movie.
