He was born 15 September 1942, he was born in a village named Kondiparru near Gudivada in Krishna district of present Andhra Pradesh. His original name is Rangavajhula Ranga Rao. He has two sons and a daughter. His youngest son Saakshi Shiva is also a television actor.
He was active during the years 1967-1995. He was an actor in south Indian cinema mainly Telugu and was a theatre artist. He began his career during his student age as a stenographer (the process of writing in shorthand) in Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
He has very much passion for theatre arts and performed marvelous and memorable roles on stage. His film career started in 1960 with the movie Sakshi directed by Bapu (cartoonist and a director known for his trademark films). From then Sakshi was added to his screen name. 
He has stabilized his position in Telugu cinema as comedian/villain. He had his own style of action and diction of dialogues. He acted in more than 400 films during his career. He mainly played the role of comedian and he is one of the best remembered comedians among the history of Telugu cinema. He is always preferred by the top directors at his time like K.Viswanath, Bapu and Vamsi. He almost acted in all of their films.
He was collapsed on May 5 2005 during a rehearsal for the Gurazada play, `Kanyasulkam'. For long he was in hospital and finally he died on 27 June 2005 at the age of 63 years in Chennai due to diabetes and resulting in renal failure.

He was born on July 27, 1960 in Vijayanagaram, Andhra Pradesh. His original name was Pudipeddi Saikumara Sarma. His father P.J.Sharma was a leading dubbing artist and actor. Sai Kumar also followed him starting as a child dubbing artist. He has very exceptional command on Telugu language, he has marvellous calibre in Dialogue delivery and clarity in Telugu diction. He dubbed for leading Telugu actors like Suman (top Telugu hero in 1990’s) and Rajashekar. Later he himself became an actor and played lead roles in many movies. Presently he was acting in important supporting characters.He was married to Surekha kumar and couple have a son and a daughter. His son Aadi is presently a budding film hero in Tollywood. His brother is also a famous actor and dubbing artist, he is prominent in Kannada industry.He acted in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. In adolescence he started his career through Chiranjeevi’s ‘Challenge’ movie. In initial days he got tremendous fame through Police characters. Later on he started acting as a Villain. He got many awards which include Nandi awards for best supporting character and also South film fare awards for supporting artist.Presently he was busy in Television reality shows. He was hosting, “Deal or No Deal” (A game format which is famous around the globe) on Gemini TV and “WOW-Manchi Kick Ichche Game Show” on ETV Telugu. He is hosting WOW-2 in ETV. He recently started another show “Luck unte Lakshmi” on ETV. All the game shows he is dealing with have bumper prizes in cash.He also won many awards for TV anchoring like TV9 award 2009, Tata Docomo media award and AP Cine goers' 6th Annual TV Awards – 2009.
