Naresh Agastya

Naresh was born and brought up in Hyderabad, India. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Technology. Since his young days, Naresh had an interest in acting and admired actors such as Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. He used to perform in school dramas and plays. His first appearance in front of a camera was for a short film he worked in 2011. One of his short films 'Pelli Pusthakam' became a huge hit and gathered him attention amongst the audience. Through his short films, he got several opportunities to act in television serials. Initially, he did not aspire to work in daily soaps as he intended to work only in feature films.

Naresh took up a few small character roles in the serials as he thought it would give him more exposure to acting. After a point, sitcom makers wanted to cast Naresh in leading roles, so he forcibly came out of some of the shows because of this reason, and after a point, he decided not to do any more serials.

In 2017, he acted in the movie Dobuchulaata which was one of Telugu Cinema's lowest budget flicks. It gathered positive response from the audience. As of 2020, Naresh is working with director Jay for a project based on an Indian mythological novel called Ramayan.

Apart from acting and movies, Naresh is a fitness enthusiast. He loves performing the action scenes in his films without a stunt double. Naresh loves changing his look time to time and fancies doing regular photoshoots. He wants his movies to be relatable to the audience and hopes to do at least one web series for the OTT platform.
