Krishna Santhi

Krishna Santhi, a young Fashion designer who works in the Film Industry. She completed her college from National Institute of Fashion Design in Hyderabad. She worked as a Graphic designer in a company called Icon Graphics from March 2005 to July 2007.

Then she worked as a costume Designer in a Telugu company from Aug 2009. She has also worked as an illustrator as a freelancer since 2010 for eight years. As a fashion designer, Illustrator she started a company by the name Asthitva Design Studio in the year 2013. She is the CEO of the studio, and the company received excellence and appreciation in product quality. She began sketching at a very tender age when she was 3 or 4 years old.

From painting on paper, she went on to oil painting and digital art in the second grade. In her mind, she decided to begin working professionally as an artist from the fourth standard. She was also majorly influenced by films and cinema. It was her inclination towards art and design that further shaped her career choices in future when she decided to pursue the course of fashion designing from NIFT. The turning point in her life was when she was in college and she received a call from the office of Ram Gopal Verma, in the year 2010, who required a designer for costumes for a script. Using the opportunity to use she worked diligently and came up with designs that he immensely loved.

Her biggest challenge on that project was, to work for the costumes of a movie without any knowledge about cinema. She worked with RGV on 4 scripts, made the most out of her experience and developed work ethics which she abides by till date. She has been a contributor to various projects including Awe, Debbaku Taa Dongala Mutta, Rangasthalam.

Over the years she imbibed many skills which include those of an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Fashion Designer, Photographer, Creative Director, etc. Kajal Agarwal is her inspiration and she admires her fashion sense, design, and persona.
