Vijay Sekhar Sankranthi is an Indian director known for visualizing the action-thriller “7 to 4” (2016), which is his only movie till date. The film narrates the story of four youngsters who torture sex offenders between 7 a.m. To 4 p.m. To extract information from them regarding other criminals. It failed to impress the viewers and ended up as a flop.
Vijay was born and raised in Nalgonda, Telangana, where he attended St. Joseph's Vidya Nilayam in Kodad. He graduated from the K.R.R. Degree Government College, an affiliation of Osmania University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. In 2007, he enrolled in the Centre for Research in Film and Television, pursuing a diploma course in filmmaking.
He joined the Institute of Public Enterprise in Hyderabad, Telangana to complete his post-graduation studies in management and international business. He started his career as an assistant production manager at Just Yellow Media, where he worked for three years. He later worked ephemerally at numerous organizations in diverse profiles including line producer, chief assistant director, research associate, business development manager, executive producer and strategic manager. He is currently the creative director at Sangeetha Productions and the assistant producer at Worth A Shot Motion Arts.
