Sri Saripalli is an Indian movie director, writer, and assistant director. He significantly works in the Telugu entertainment industry. He began his career as an associate director under V.V.Vinayak. “Naayak (2013)” was primarily shot in Hyderabad and Kolkata. In addition to Dubai, Iceland, and Slovenia, several tracks got shot in those locations. Nayak is the first Indian movie filmed in Slovenia.

Charan played two characters: Cherry, a software programmer from Hyderabad, and Siddharth Naayak, an inspired young leader from Kolkata in the movie. The young leader fights an evil politician named Rawat. Cherry assists Siddharth in the triumph of good over evil after their paths cross in the film.
