Jandhyala Subramanya Sastry was a well known Telugu actor, screenplay writer as well as director. He was called as Haasya Bhrama for his humorous works. He was born as Jandhyala Veera Venkata Durga Siva Subrahmanya Sastry in Narsapuram. He was one of the best film directors in India and has got the valuable Padma Shri award for his service to the Indian cinema. His movie Anandha Bhairavi participated in the International Film Festival of India in the year 1983. He was a commerce graduate.
