Gifton Elias

Gifton Elias born on 14 February 1987 in the city of Hyderabad Telangana is an Indian music composer, director, and renowned musician. He was born and brought up in Hyderabad. He is mainly known for his work in Telugu films. His father, Sri. Vuppula Krupaiah Elias is a well-known Telugu Gospel Music director. He had also been a composer & music director at All India Radio, Doordarshan. Since his childhood, Gifton Elias has been connected to music. He began his music journey at the age of only five. He started singing and playing electronic keyboards, and guitars under his father’s guidance. Gifton studied at Trinity College of Music, London, United Kingdom. Hailing from a musically affluent family, he often performed in school bands and church and often assisted his father with recordings at All India Radio, Doordarshan. He learned classical piano & violin from Sri. John C Marthand.

He completed his schooling at Little Flower High School, Hyderabad, and did his bachelor's from Loyola Academy, Secunderabad. He has a degree in Mass Communications. He did his master's in Visual Communications from Loyola Academy, Chennai. In 2021, he launched India's First-ever music series featuring desi talent content & music known as ‘Desi Superstars’.
