Dr. Jamuna is a specialist in infertility cure, dermatology ( hair and dandruff related), and obesity. She was born on 31st August to a couple of doctors, i.e. Dr. Subburathinammal and Dr. Anjaneyalu. She is in the field of medicine for more than 35 years. She is the founder of the Karthick Fertility Centre. She has received many awards, including an honorary doctorate from the Mother Teresa University of Kodaikanal.
However, she became a known face to the Tamil television audience as she appears as the guest doctor in the show, Vanakkam Tamizha. Vanakkam Tamizha is a live Tamil show broadcasted during the morning time. The show mainly does celebrity interviews, trendy topics, and much more.
