Lipika Darai or Lipika Singh Darai is an Indian film director and filmmaker. She is from Odisha. She learned Sound Recording and Design at the Film and Television Institute of India. Before becoming a director and filmmaker, she worked as a sound recordist in the Odisha film industry. During childhood, she was very attached to a bird and a rose plant. These connections help her to develop new thoughts on making films. Lipika also made a documentary 'Some Stories around Witches' that is about a witch hunt. Her short film 'The waterfall' discusses the correlation between human beings and nature. She also made the film Kankee O Saapo.
