Prasad Thosar

Prasad Thosar is a creative producer and writer. His hometown is Alibag, Maharashtra, and he resides in Mumbai. He studied at KES Industrial High School in the 1987 batch. He did a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from 1987-93 at the University of Mumbai. He was also active in the acting team, drama group, and debate team at J. S. M. College, Alibag, Mumbai University, in 1993. He did a Master of Business Administration in Marketing at C. S. M. Pune in correspondence from 1996-98. He was also active here in the debate and research team.

He worked as an Executive Producer/Coordinator at Enadu Television, Mumbai, from May 2000 to April 2002. Here, he executed non-fiction shows from concept to telecast version with pre- and post-production. He completed nine Marathi and eight Urdu serials and three events. He worked as a Studio Manager at Aum Creations, Mumbai, from May 2002 to December 2007. He was responsible for the post-production of Hindi daily soaps, special MTV shows, Marathi, Hindi, and Bhojpuri movies, corporate films, documentaries, short films, and audio design for serials.

He was the Creative Head and dialogue Writer at Ruchi Films, Mumbai, from April 2013 to August 2018, where he worked on the content, story, screenplay, dialogues, execution, post-production, and follow-up of Tu Maza Sangaati, a fictional serial. He also worked as a freelance writer for the screenplay dialogues of Savitri Joti at Dashmi in Mumbai from August to December 2020. He has experience as a Radio Jockey, where he worked as a casual announcer for a Marathi programme since June 2006. He has also worked as a freelance Writer Director for Saibaba Shradha Ani Saburi at Studio Kalawant, Mumbai, since September 2020. He has been a Creative Producer at the Trrump Card Production in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, since July 2021.
