P.Savlaram is a writer who has written songs and poems. He is a known Marathi language poet and songwriter. He uses simple and easy language or words in his songs and poems. In a rhythmic tone, his words are simple and easy to pronounce, like field, forest, river, lake, ocean, god, mother, small baby, tree, foot, world, etc. He has written almost 72 sentimental songs that later became very popular.
Many are devotional songs based on the women's respect, touching their sentiments. P.Savlaram became a songwriter by chance. He was contacted by one of his college friends, Dinkar Patil, a well-known film industry director. P.Savlaram wrote the songs for the film Ram Ram Pavanam for the first time.
