Anirudh Wankar is a musician, actor, theatre play producer, lyricist, poet, and politician from India. Wadal wara is another name for him. He was born on 25th December 1970. He received his MFA (Drama) from R.T.M. University in Nagpur. He has a diploma in drama from Sanskrit University, Ramtek, a postgraduate diploma from Lok Kala Academy, Mumbai University, and a master's degree in sociology. He has performed over 2000 stage shows throughout India. He belongs to the Indian National Congress Party. Anirudh Wankar is best known for his work on Lastbenchers (2014) and Dr. Prakash Baba Amte - The Real Hero (2014).

Anirudh is a regular performer of AIR Nagpur and AIR Chandrapur as a folk singer. He has performed as a folk artist in 100 shows of Samaj Kalyan Sanchalanalaya's Mobile Theatre in Maharashtra State, Pune. He is well-known for his Ambedkarite songs. Anirudh is a part of Folk Kalapathak and Street Plays to raise awareness about issues such as Darubandi, tribal health, education, the environment, and the development of women and children. He has received numerous awards, including the Mahatma Gandhi Vyasanmukti Seva Puraskar (2016), the Ambedkar Ratna Puraskar (2016), the Loksurya Puraskar (2016), the Nehru Yuva Puraskar (1998), and the Annabhau Sathe Puraskar (1997).
