Vasant Joglekar was born in Nagpur, Berar, British India, on September 25, 1914. He was a Marathi film director and producer who also directed a handful of Bollywood films. He is most known for producing two Bollywood family dramas in the 1960s, Aanchal and Aaj Aur Kal.
