Ram Gabale is an Indian director who worked for the Marathi film industry. He is famous for several social documentaries, children’s films, and television series. Gabale is originally from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and shifted to Mumbai and started working with Rajkamal Studios.
After this, he started working in Prabhat Studios in Pune and directed his first movie Vande Matram starring late P.L. Deshpande and Sunita in 1948. Gabale is also a prominent position holder in Indian cinematic institutions including Film and Television Institute of India, Film City in Goregaon, and Films Division in Mumbai.
