Nachiket Samant is an Indian film director. He worked predominantly in Marathi. He is known for his feature directorial debut with Gachchi(2017). It is a Marathi Film. He was a part of the organization committee of the Pune International Film Festival and was introduced to world cinema. It was a great opportunity for him to interact with international filmmakers and also it led him to assist Marco Amenta, an Italian filmmaker. Comedy Couple is Nachiket's Hindi feature film produced by Saregama and released on ZEE5 in 2020. 'Habaddi' is a Marathi film directed by Nachiket Samant.
It proves original cinema is a pan-Indian Phenomenon. This film was released on TV as well as on the OTT platform. The film is about an Orphan boy, Manya, often bullied by other boys. Then, a kabbadi match became a turning point for the boy which allowed him to change his life. This film will teach people that nobody is always weak.
