Onkar Diwadkar is an Indian writer, director, producer and editor who was born in 1995 in Mumbai. He graduated from the University of Mumbai and has been active in the entertainment industry since 2013. He worked as an assistant director (2013-2017) for the Marathi movie, Nadi Vahate. He also works as a professional Travel photographer. He is also the founder and CEO of Antarctica Pictures (since 2019).
Onkar's first live-action short film, titled “Mrugajal - In the Land of Mirage”, premiered at the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival in 2019. His second mystery-drama short film, “Still Alive”, released in 2021, had an official screening at the 51st International Film Festival, Goa. It received a good response from the audience and got shortlisted for the Filmfare Short Film Award, in 2022.
