Kasturi Shelar is an Indian artist who has worked in the film industry. She is a famous director and cinematographer. She has more than eighteen years of experience in the film Industry. She got a Bachelor’s degree in home science and family resource management. She is fluent in speaking English, Hindi, and Marathi languages. She was nominated for a prestigious Award, the First Lady Cinematographer award. She had a worthy and challenging experience in this industry. She joined Sanjay Malvanikar's organization in 2000. Kasturi Shelar is known for Laakhon Hain Yaha Dilwaley (2015), Anuradha (2014), Sin Story, and Jee Lalchaye Raha Na Jaye.
She has worked with Balaji Telefilms as an associate and assistant director for projects including Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kya Hogaa Nimmo Ka, Ku Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Kay Hadsa Kay Hakikat. She also worked with Spare Origin as an associate director for project Mohd Rang De. She was a cinematographer for a short Telefilm, Mamta, Lakho Hai Yaha Dilwale, and Shiv Sakti. She has also worked with Rrr production, Rajshri Pictures, and Endamol for projects including Shuklaji Street Bombay, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, and many more. She was a part of project Sanjeevani to learn skills.Â
