Marathi Actress Dipali Sayyed

Dipali Sayyed is a Marathi actress and politician. She was born in Bihar on April 1, 1978. Dipali earned her Master’s of Science degree from SK Pantwalawalkar Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Mumbai. Dipali’s acting career started in 2004 when she got the chance to work in the Marathi film, Chatur Navra Chikini Baiko. After her acting debut, she appeared in many Marathi films in supporting character roles. Dipali was offered the lead actor role in the 2011 Marathi film, Durga Mhantat Mala. She played the lead role in several other films, including Sambha: Aajcha Chhavaa (2012) and Bola Alak Niranjan (2019).

Dipali contested the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections from Thane on a Shiv Sena party ticket. Although she lost the election, she continued to be popular due to her social activities. Her trust, Dipali Bhonsale Sayed Charitable Trust, was instrumental in helping the needy during the COVID lockdown. Due to her social work, Dipali received several awards, including a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records.
