Shrikant Bhide (full name Shrikant Prabhakar Bhide) is an actor of Indian origin. He has worked mostly in the Marathi Film Industry. He was born in Pune in the state of Maharashtra. He went to Abhinav Arts College for his higher studies. After college, he developed an interest in theatre and dramatics. He began writing Marathi plays and used to direct them as well. Some of his plays are Shauziya, Gai Shaapan, Vivartan, Operation Jatayu, Parvana, and many more. He is currently a part of the Marathi serial Thipkyayan Rangoli which telecasts on Star Pravah. In 2016, he was featured in a short film A Short Scene About Waiting. He was also a part of the movie What About Savarkar? (2015).
