Khais Millen is an Indian film director who has recently emerged and left a footprint on the South Indian Film industry. He did his schooling from St. Marys His Patton in Kerala and then got a bachelors degree in Economics from Mar Ivonios College in 2005. Taking a completely different route from his traditional education, he followed his passion to become an actor in films and thus tried his hand in filmmaking. The incident had transformed his life in a big way as he became addicted to his friend and also to what he had done to him on that day. The movie became a huge hit amongst the audience and received much critical acclamation. The movie is about Akash (Vijay Babu), the managing director of a firm, and Vani (Kavya Madhavan), a media professional, whose demanding professional lives leaves their personal married life in trouble. This movie didn’t go as well for Millen making it a flop with many bad reviews. The times of India went as far as to say, and we quote, Akashvani is a casual film which has a typical plotline and the process becomes mundane towards the end. Even though Millen’s directorial debut in the film industry didn’t go as well as planned, his hard work and recognized talent through his short film gives him hope, and as he has mentioned “no pain, no gain” as his favorite quote, he is trying to run on his way to success.
