Benny Thomas was born in South India. He is a well-known Indian film director. Most of his projects are in the Malayalam language. He began his career as an associate director for the Malayalam movie Picket-43 (2015). Engeyum is a Tamil movie directed by Benny. His famous directions include ‘Mylanchi Monjulla Veedu (2014),’ ‘Ma aa salaama (2010),’ and ‘Kalippu (2019).’ Benny debuted as a director with the film ‘Kathara.’ Benny is praised by critics due his unique storytelling which connects with audiences in Kerala and beyond.
