Adarsh Venugopal is a director, screenplay writer, and lyricist working in the Malayalam film industry. He was born in Kerala and studied at N.S.S. Boys High School in Perunna, a locality in Changanassery in Kerala. He is now based in Thrissur. He graduated from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, followed by a diploma in Hotel Management from School of Management Studies in Ettumanoor. Before entering the film industry, he was a marketing executive for Diamonds Fort Caterers and marketing manager for Blue Heaven Caterers.Â
He joined the film industry as an associate director in the movie Ooha, released on 27 September 2019. He made his directorial debut with the film Varkey, released on 6 March 2020. He wrote the screenplay of the film and the lyrics for the songs featured on it. He has provided lyrics for songs like Thenezhuthave, Sildiyave, and Kalyanam Nalle. He is a creative director at Express World Hub Opc Pvt Ltd.Â
