TG Sreekumar

TG Sreekumar is a cinematographer in the Malayalam TV and movie industries. He studied at St Sebastian’s Higher Secondary School in Palluruthy, Ernakulam. He is married and has a son, Shailesh.

Sreekumar started his career as a freelance cameraman in 1980 in Cochin. In 1981, he joined Minerva Studio as a still photographer and a video cameraman. He also worked for Asianet as a senior cameraman. He also worked at Dubai Media City. Sreekumar also works as a media consultant and TV and cinema photography instructor.

In 1999, he was honoured with the Kerala State Award for the Best Cameraman in the series Draupadi. In 2001, Sreekumar received the Film Critics Award for Best Cameraman award for the serial “ Devaranjini Devaranjini is a drama show which got streamed ove >> Read More... ,” aired on DD Malayalam.

In 2004, he was honoured with the Kerala State Award for the Best Cameraman in the series Black & White: The Game. In 2005, he received the Best Cameraman award again for his telefilm Panthalayiniyilekku Oru Yathra.
