Dasan Kongad is an Malayalam Actor. He was born in Palakkad district's Kongad. Dasan is involved in a group that plays Uduk Pat, Street Drama, and Porat Kali in various Panchayat. While attending the block and district levels, Dasan and his companions founded a permanent theatrical committee named Kongad Nataka Sangam. The Kongad Natak Sangam has performed plays in English and Hindi in addition to Malayalam.
Dasan Kongad has also received the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy Award for Best Actor for his depiction of Chanchan Valyachan in Cherala Charitam. Dasan Kongad also runs a boxing theater production named Knock Out, which was inspired by Samuel Beckett's play Last Tape. He has also appeared in movies like Pata and Nakkutthi. Dasan is also a skilled farmer.
