Xiumin

Xiumin was born on 26th March 1990 as Kim Min-Seok in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. He is a singer cum actor from South Korea. He is one of the members of the leading K pop band, Exo. He did his graduation from Catholic Kwandong University. Besides being a singer and an actor, he is an enthusiast in Martial Arts, Fencing, Wushu and Football. He got a black belt in Taekwondo and Kendo. Due to his high interest in Football, Xiumin received an honor from the Korea Football Association. He is appointed as the honorary Ambassador of the association.

His first audition came in the year 2008 for JYP. But luck didn’t favor him. After winning second place in SM Everysing Contest in 2008, he became an SM Entertainment's Casting System trainee. He joined Exo in 2012. His first guest appearance was in 2013 with popular actress Jum Yoo Jung in Gone, a song in a music video. Jin, a Lovelyz’s member crooned the song.

Xiumin made his theatrical debut in 2015 along with Key, Changmin, “ Suho Suho was born Kim Jun- Myeon on 22nd May 1991 in S >> Read More... ,” Seulgi and Luna. In the same year, he played the lead role in Falling For Challenge, a web drama alongside Kim So-eun, the leading actress. Besides playing in that drama, he also released the single for the drama You Are The One. It is one of the hit dramas that had huge viewership in 2015. Call You Bae is one of the hit singles of Jimin that featured Xiumin. His silver screen debut came in the year 2016. He played the lead role in Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River with Yoo Seung-ho.

He joined hands with “ Baekhyun Baekhyun is a popular singer, actor cum songwriter >> Read More... ” and “ Chen Chen was born Kim Jong Dae on 1st September 1992 i >> Read More... ” for the OST, For You from the TV drama series Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. He became a member of Exo CBX in 2016 with Baekhyun and Chen. Their debut Extended Play, Hey Mama, got released on 31^st October. He is also a part of the MBC reality show It's Dangerous Beyond The Blankets. Xiumin announced his military service in 2019 and he served in the military since 7^th May 2019. He returned from the military and made his fans happy in December 2020.
